I’m a Registered Veterinary Nurse with over 20 years of experience in both referral and first opinion practice, working with a wide range of species and clinical teams. Across my career, I’ve remained committed to one constant: ensuring that animals receive the best care possible, delivered with compassion and professionalism. In my current role as Clinical Workflow Coordinator in a busy, multidisciplinary referral hospital, I focus on optimising patient flow and supporting smooth, efficient communication between departments. I help ensure that patients receive timely care, clinicians are supported, and workflows remain safe and sustainable — especially during high-pressure or unpredictable days. I’ve developed a strong interest in how teams function; how we communicate and collaborate under pressure. I take pride in being someone others can rely on to stay calm and keep everyone focused on what matters most: patient welfare and team wellbeing. Alongside hands-on clinical experience, I bring problem-solving abilities and a clear understanding of how hospitals run behind the scenes. I enjoy mentoring, promoting continuous improvement at all levels, advocating for patients, and working with others to improve systems and outcomes. Whether in direct patient care or logistical coordination, I bring a proactive, thoughtful approach and a genuine passion for helping both animals and people. I’m always open to connecting with others in the profession; to learn and share so we can continue improving the standard of care we provide.
