About Helen Farrell

Heading up the Occupational Health and Well-being function at Dairygold, I lead efforts to support employees’ physical, mental, and social health across multiple work locations. My role also extends into Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE & I), with a strong focus on creating neurodiverse-friendly environments where all individuals can thrive. With a specialist background in Occupational Health and Well-being, I work to ensure that people are not only safe at work but fully supported to stay well and productive. This includes proactive sickness absence management, targeted health promotion, and adapting work to fit people—not the other way around. I'm a strong advocate for rehabilitation and structured return-to-work programmes which protect employee health, reduce risk, and help prevent litigation. My goal is always to help people stay in work, return to work safely, and perform at their best within their capabilities.
