About Helen Henshaw
I am Principal Research Fellow and RKE Lead for Mental Health and Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Nottingham (UoN). My research interests include adult aural rehabilitation, speech perception, cognition, perceptual and cognitive learning and health behaviour change. I work in collaboration with clinical and academic colleagues at the NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre & the Hearing Sciences research group at UoN.I am a Senior Fellow of the British Society of Audiology (BSA) and chair of the BSA special interest group for Cognition in Hearing. I am also an Associate of the Higher Education Academy (AHEA), Member of the Experimental Psychology Society (EPS), Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) & Chartered Member (CPsychol) of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and Member of the BPS Cognitive Section & Division of Health Psychology.I lead a skilled and dedicated team of hearing scientists focused on improving Adult Hearing & Cognitive Health.
