I started working in Land Systems, munitions, South Wales in procurement as a direct buyer. After 2 years I decided to relocate north and start a career working for BAE Systems, Air in Strategic Supplier Management. I’ve since gone on to work in project control, lifecycle management and Project Management. I’m currently working as the Advanced Projects and Technology Programmes, Bid Manager (PM delivery, capture phase). I absolutely love this job. Although it’s fast paced and can be extremely challenging I find this role so rewarding. I work in a fantastic area, where everyone is so professional and supportive. All the opportunities the bid team have taken through the early LCM stage have been submitted on time even though the timescales have been incredibly short and initial though impossible.
