Bookkeeper with an in depth understanding of transaction mechanisms, accounting processes, procedures and complete transparency over what is happening in ERP systems. Assistant to CFO for a company with warehouses and offices around Australia and bookkeeper for medium sized and small businesses has provided me with a wealth of experience over different organisations and industries. Having co-owned businesses in which I undertook all the bookkeeping duties - accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation of bank accounts, payroll, reconciliation of the general ledger to preparation of financial statements ( with supporting working papers) for submission to external accountant for preparation of taxation returns. As assistant to the company CFO I was responsible for the end to end accounts payable, overseeing accounts receivable, payroll overseeing the weekly payment runs then taking control of reconciliation to general ledger and submission of PAYG and superannuation, reconciliation of bank and loan accounts, preparation of draft financial statements with full supporting work papers for review by CFO and external auditors. I have worked with large ERP systems Clear Objective and SAP in addition to MYOB and Xero. I am adaptable and a quick learner and embrace the challenge of learning new systems.
