About Helen Slaughter

Teaching, Learning and Assessment, Apprenticeship Management, Quality Assurance, Curriculum Development and Management Accomplished operational manager with teaching and managerial experience spanning 20 years. Extensive experience in managing and developing curriculum and leading change, as well as developing training courses and resources to ensure the highest levels of standards are maintained. This has impacted positively on staff and learners alike, resulting in improved success rates and raised staff morale. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated leadership skills across a variety of areas, particularly English and Maths, and have a proven ability to motivated staff/trainees/learners of all ages and ability levels. As a member of the leadership team, in my current and previous roles, I have been responsible for strategy development, organisational quality assurance, including playing a key role in Ofsted inspections, quality assurance policy/procedure development and teaching, learning and assessment across a range of disciplines. I manage my workload and those of others well, work effectively and efficiently whilst under pressure to meet targets and deadlines. I have exceptional interpersonal and time management skills, am able to communicate effectively, work positively and flexibly with others and at all times act with integrity and passion.
