I have extensive experience in commercial finance and across FMCG businesses, and this has helped me gain a number of skills which would benefit many finance leadership roles. • Effective communication with all levels of the business • Long and short-term planning and forecasting • Performance analysis and commentary • Action planning • Business partnering and building relationships • Implementing controls and business process improvements – including demonstrations to external audit I’m resourceful, innovative, engaged, an introvert and a team player who can communicate and provide effective challenge. I provide clear, data led modelling aimed to enhance and drive decisions. I take pride in getting the job done- I love a challenge and an opportunity to learn. I’ll typically look for how to deliver what’s needed and really try and understand the problem to be solved. I enjoy looking for ways to enhance, improve, and drive efficiencies into processes and find the best solution. I won’t make change for changes sake though- it has to drive a benefit to the business, or the user. As a people manager I recognise the value of the team, I will always make time to aid development (both my own and my teams) and will endeavour to share my knowledge and experience to help to coach and guide my team and colleagues. Some of my most valued feedback has been recognising how I engage with my colleagues, taking people with me through effective communication, collaboration and aiding the business through driving clear purpose and goals. I love to travel exploring different cultures, cuisines and often the wine. I’ve currently visited 65 countries and can’t wait to start travelling again. My golden rule is that I’m unlikely to go back to the same place twice so if something looks interesting do it now – it’s led to some unique experiences including cave-diving, eating dinner suspended 50ft in the air, and parasailing in the Atlas mountains.
