I trained in Medicine at Sheffield University and have an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a PhD from City University London. I am a Clinical Professor of Public Health at Imperial College London, Director of the Imperial Patient Experience Research Centre, Co-Director of the Global Master of Public Health online course, and co-lead for Social, Genetic and Environmental Determinants of Health Theme of the Imperial NIHR Biomedical Research Centre.
