Initially my husband and I went out to Uganda to visit an orphanage Revive a life Uganda, whilst we were there we visited an associate medical centre that was struggling. People having to choose between paying for medicines or treatment or feeding the family. Mostly they chose to feed the family. We visited a local hospital in Kampala - it was shocking, people waiting for months for care, usually on the floor. People dying waiting for simple operations. People committing suicide because they couldn't stand the pain anymore, and the hospital would bury them. The medical centre is a beacon of hope, it is small and may only make a small dent in the need of the people of Kawempe. But we intend to keep making as many dents as possible! The pictures are of Murgarlo we want to make it cleaner and better in our medical mission, look at our photos to see the difference!
