About Helena Sequeira

To serve and to help others is my passion in life! My core values include honesty, integrity and ethics, demonstrated in my academic background in Social Sciences and a profound understanding of Psychology. My professional background includes a strong consolidated international experience with a powerful client service ethos and delivery focus, which I developed whilst I was a manager both in the hotel industry, health and fitness industry, and as a worldwide crew member for one of the biggest airlines in the world. These experiences allowed me to deal with all aspects related to customer experience including analysing customer complaints and concerns, seeking solutions and service improvement. This lead to increased customer satisfaction and frequent returning clients. All these interactions permitted me to be involved in different contexts and situations where I developed valuable skills like interpersonal and intercultural communication, high levels of resilience, flexibility, ability to work independently and as a team player, leadership, process improvement, conflict management, problem solving and emotional intelligence. This also allowed me to build strong client relationship skills with an ability to manage a variety of situations with a focus of serving they need. While working for the aviation industry I consistently handled severe crises on board, which evolved my ability to work under extreme stress, difficult environments and high pressure situations. These kind of events allowed me to develop strategies to deal with a wide range of highly complex problems that required creativity, perspective and innovation. My curious nature is frequently leading me to learn and discover new subjects and skills, working to build in my understanding and current solutions in ways that require me to think outside the box.
