I am a vocal coach and music educator with 8 years of professional teaching and performance experience. Currently, I am a Private Vocal Instructor with Tim Welch Vocal Studio. I deliver private vocal instruction to a diverse range of students with a myriad of abilities. My job as a teacher is not simply focused on the growth of vocal ability. Every aspect of teaching must be delivered through an empathetic lens to ensure that students build confidence at their pace and maintain the joy of singing and selfless expression. I plan and organize lessons, targeted to individual student needs. In addition, I liaise with colleagues and clients to ensure the studio’s coaching support structure is driving client satisfaction. My passion for life-long learning and helping others find their voice has inspired me to further my education in this field. This year, I plan to apply to graduate programs in Speech-Language Patholgy to eventually expand my clientele to those who are recovering from voice disorders.
