About Helene Tiley

Driven by a passion for improving the lives of those around me, I have worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture for the past three years tackling a variety of issues. As a laboratory technician, I studied a fungal pathogen infecting wheat and barley in order to design new approaches to preventing disease and toxin production in food sources. I identified and addressed areas for improvement in my organization by innovating a new advertisement process, developing new onboarding materials, and designing an internship program focused on mentorship. Currently, as a Program Support Assistant, I provide technical and administrative support to personnel in three locations. With my broad background in data analytics and project management, I am now ready to explore a new career in healthcare information technology where I can continue to contribute to people's well-being.
