About Helmut Eichhorn

Business executive, entrepreneur, and former Trade Commissioner of Chile in Peru, with a solid track record in internationalization processes and the expansion of companies into new markets. I have worked in multinational corporations, leading B2B business units and managing negotiations in Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia. Additionally, I have founded companies in Chile, Peru, and the United States in sectors such as telecommunications, information technology, and international trade. During my tenure as Trade Commissioner in Peru, I represented Chile in the commercial sector, driving the internationalization of Chilean companies in key industries such as mining, agribusiness, aquaculture, renewable energy, and information technology. My work focused on identifying new business opportunities, attracting importers and investors, and promoting market diversification. Currently, I advise Latin American and European companies on their expansion into Latin America and represent BVMW (the Federal Association of Small and Medium-sized Businesses of Germany) in Chile, supporting over companies in that country. In addition, I actively participate in the development of energy efficiency projects, with a special focus on the implementation of green hydrogen solutions, contributing to the global energy transition. I hold a degree in Commercial Engineering, an Executive MBA, and various diplomas from Chile, the United States, and China. I have dual nationality (German and Chilean) and am fluent in English, German, and Spanish.
