After 7+ years working in a clinical role as an Occupational Therapist, I switched careers and now working in Medical Device Sales! I have completed my first full year as a sales representative at Inogen and achieved President’s Club for 2022 (top 40 sales reps company wide). My ranking was #16 out of 300+ sales representatives! Anything is possible! I can’t wait to improve with each passing year! I love helping respiratory patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life! Sales to me is connecting with souls to give them what they need; and, I truly believe my drive, positivity, passion, and willingness to learn and remain humble have been my greatest assets! Extensive background in working with geriatric population, floating PRN to 6 acute care hospitals and 2 inpatient rehabs within Baylor Scott & White system as well as 3 assisted living facilities across DFW with Fox Rehabilitation. Exceptional at providing solutions to various departmental challenges/concerns through knowledge, analysis, experience, and exposure to multiple settings. Past experience includes: acute care trauma level hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient oncology, hand therapy clinic, nursing home, assisted living/memory care, and school and community-based therapy. Roles & responsibilities have included: evaluation and treatment of patients of varying diagnoses and acuity (orthopedic, trauma, medical surgical, telemetry, oncology, neurology, and pyscho-social), creating schedule/caseload for all therapists, training full-time/PRN staff with any changes, ordering DME equipment, and providing education for CEUs and patient/staff safety. Skilled in building rapport and engaging participation with most challenging patients as well as other healthcare personnel, proven-track record for adaptability and bringing strong team culture across culturally diverse co-workers through successful co-treatments, uplifting/positive attitude and energy, and recognition of individual strengths. Experienced in providing education and training to full-time and PRN therapy staff as well as nurses and mentoring OT and high school students. Skilled in leading, managing, and training quality control PM & R team, developing research purpose and methodology, and completing analysis as Lead Quality Control Chair for entire PM & R department.
