About Hemanth Kumar Yetra

Networking professional with over 8 years of experience specializing in Sonic and AI-driven solutions for data center environments. My expertise spans testing, implementing, and optimizing cutting-edge networking technologies to meet the demands of modern data centers. Currently, I am focused on SONiC (Software for Open Networking in the Cloud) technology, working to enhance Microsoft’s data center networks. My responsibilities include testing and deploying advanced QoS (Quality of Service) features such as Priority Flow Control (PFC), PFC Watchdog (PFCWD), Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN), and Data Center Quantized Congestion Notification (DCQCN) to ensure high performance and reliability in AI networking models. I have strong expertise in testing various L2/L3 technologies like VXLAN, EVPN, OSPF, BGP, and other QoS features, ensuring seamless integration into AI-powered data center networks. I have conducted Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for various customers on technologies such as TAP aggregation, EVPN and other data centre technologies. My experience also extends to testing and working with Arista networking platforms (400G, 800G), with an in-depth understanding of packet processing on Jericho2, Jericho3, and Jericho3-AI platforms. I specialize in testing high route scalability and convergence across all Arista platforms, optimizing network performance for large-scale deployments. Over the years, I’ve contributed to the networks of cloud giants like Microsoft, Google, and Facebook, testing platform-dependent features and resolving customer escalations. My current focus is on implementing on AI data center features. With a strong foundation in networking technologies, hands-on experience in advanced testing, and a passion for solving complex challenges, I am committed to driving innovation in AI-driven data center networking and helping organizations build efficient, future-ready infrastructures.
