About Hendratmo Hendratmo

I am a livelihood development and market systems specialist with more than 15 years of experience designing and implementing sustainable livelihood interventions, value chain development, and community engagement strategies across Indonesia’s marine, forest, and agroforestry landscapes, including private sector engagement, green investment and banking industry. My work focuses on strengthening smallholder livelihoods, improving market access, and creating inclusive and environmentally responsible economic opportunities. I have led feasibility studies, supply chain analyses, business model development, and sustainability assessments for commodities such as coffee, cacao, coconut, rubber, sago, seaweed, and various marine products in Aceh, Papua, West Nusa Tenggara, Lampung, North Sulawesi, South Sumatra and other regions. I have collaborated extensively with governments, private sector partners, conservation organizations, community enterprises, and international development programs to support green growth, poverty reduction, and long-term conservation outcomes. My experience includes developing public–private partnerships, conducting capacity building for field teams and community groups, and designing intervention models grounded in evidence, financial analysis, and market-based approaches. Passionate about sustainable development, I focus on creating practical, scalable solutions that enhance community wellbeing while supporting forest and marine conservation across Indonesia.
