About Hendry Jawhari

With over 13 years of experience in cost accounting and plant controlling, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to optimize the financial performance and operational efficiency of my organization. I have a strong background in product costing, budgeting, variance analysis, and SAP modules, and I enjoy applying my analytical and problem-solving skills to improve processes and systems. As a plant controller at PT Papandayan Cocoa Industry, I am responsible for overseeing the financial and operational aspects of the largest cocoa processing plant in Indonesia, and ensuring compliance with local and international standards. In my current role, I manage the preparation and reporting of monthly and annual financial statements, as well as the consolidation and reconciliation of intercompany transactions. I also monitor and analyze the plant's production costs, inventory levels, and profitability, and provide recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Additionally, I work closely with the plant management and the regional finance team to develop and implement budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, and to support internal and external audits. Some of my key achievements include leading the implementation of SAP FICO and SAP BW modules, streamlining the product costing and cataloguing processes, and securing a large contract with a major chocolate manufacturer. I have also developed and maintained strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and trained and mentored junior staff members. I am proficient in cost accounting, SAP FICO, SAP BW, and Microsoft Excel, and I have a bachelor's degree in accounting from Universitas Trisakti.
