Ik ben een vrolijk persoon die er van houd om met kinderen te werken. Nadat ik van mijn 18e tot ca. mijn 23e lid ben geweest van de Jeugdcommissie van de tennisvereniging, ben ik in 2006 begonnen met de studie tot docent 2e graads. Vanaf 2008 ben ik werkzaam in het onderwijs bij het Stellingwerf College in Oosterwolde. De laatste jaren voornamelijk als docent van de bovenbouw VMBO Basis en Kader. Daarnaast ben ik vanaf 2009 werkzaam als mentor. Sinds augustus 2022 heb ik zitting in de MR.
