About Henri Cornell

Hello, my name is Henri Cornell and I’m a Business Management student at Purdue University. My overall interests include small business management, physical fitness, and the outdoors, among others. I have always considered myself as an ambitious leader and a team player, looking for the next challenge to overcome. I believe that my empathy and compatibility with others has allowed me to connect with others in my professional and personal life. Working for a family owned business has allowed me to understand the importance of grit and persistence. I’ve learned that a job done correctly is not just a 40 hour work week but requires extra hours and time out of one’s personal life. It is through grit that has enabled me to overcome challenges not only in class and at work but in my personal life. I believe persistence and grit go hand in hand when working any job or achieving any goal, as they can not be achieved over night and take long hours of work, focus and dedication. I believe that one’s measure of grit and persistence scales themselves to what they can truly overcome. I have always been amazed about the connections one can make from opportunities and skills. Through the RV industry, I have been exposed to numerous people in all positions from Sales Manager to RV technicians. This has allowed me to gain knowledge of the different responsibilities everyone has as well as the knowledge that they have that pertains to their field. I find it extremely unique of the connections one can build to give and receive help. I am currently in search of internship that would aid the improvement of current skills and the development of new ones.
