I am a Manager with excellent Process Engineering skills at academic level, with 22 years of business experience, particularly in Purchasing, but also in Management, Development and Production. With a background in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University in Eindhoven I'm able to quickly analyze situations, categorize issues and propose creative solutions. I have used these skills many times in different business parts and organizations within Philips, in both the Netherlands and United States of America, next to managing teams and organizations and improving these on quality, output and internal/external relations. During my career I have also gained a lot of experience in doing business with Asian partners (Japan, China, India). My qualities, like analytical skills, bringing creative solutions, dedicated leadership and clear communication often encourage other team members to start improvements themselves. It also has led to many good relations and cooperation internally and externally, to great savings and to clear processes making organizations run smoothly and stable.
