About Henri Manner

I am an electrical engineer interested in solving complex engineering tasks, as well as customer problems with business justification. During my academic and work career, I have been heavily involved in several unique projects, some spanning over many years. I have designed a two-story-tall leveling rod comparator utilizing laser interferometry, operated a giant telescope at a local observatory, researched and implemented an RF energy harvesting system, designed a high-performance laser transmitter, devised manufacturing capability for a reference-grade weather instrument, coordinated several sub-projects, trained operators, and directed EMC tests. As a result, I am able to navigate fluently in a high-tech industrial world, especially in the R&D environment. Consequently, I am familiar with all the steps, including quality processes, that should be followed and fulfilled from the beginning of the productization decision to the release and beyond, and I gladly apply this knowledge. Due to varying roles and broad responsibilities, I have grown into a generalist able to comprehend and control wider themes but also focus on details when necessary.
