I have >20 years of experience in drug discovery and drug development from both academia and the biotech industry. My areas of expertise include medicinal chemistry, drug discovery, and CMC. I have a significant amount of leadership experience from managing research teams of >10 people, identifying and managing multiple CRO/CMOs across disciplines, establishing laboratory facilities, working in cross-functional settings, and implementing new technologies, as well as handling intellectual property portfolios over a number of years. Working on drug development programs, I have been responsible for CMC strategy, process development, manufacturing under cGMP for clinical use through a number of Phase II trials, drug packaging, global distribution, and regulatory filings across four continents.
