About Henrique Almico

I am a undergraduate student in Computer and Information Engineering at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) with a particular interest in the areas of Data Science, Management, and Software Engineering. I am actively participated in the Junior Enterprise Movement, where I worked as a Project Manager of Fluxo Consultoria (the Engineering Consulting Company of UFRJ). There, I started as a Software Engineer Trainee, taking part in huge system development projects. As a consequence of that challenges, I got specialized as a Backend Developer, using the following technologies: Python, REST API, Flask, SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Git, and Scrum. In this journey, my passion for growth and problem-solving made me fly for bigger challenges. Therefore, I worked in Marketing and Sales, dealing directly with the customers and being responsible for dealing with all Data Pipelines in those areas. This activity made me develop skills to deal with: Negotiation, Cold Calling, People Management, Pandas, Data Science, ETL, Analytics, Big Data.
