About Henrique Marecos

I grew up interested in a wide array of subjects which led me to study Civil Engineering. As I’ve always faced international experiences as a way to develop myself I enrolled in Erasmus programme and studied in Bologna, Italy, allying a renowned University to a city where history and youth, culture and innovation join in a special way. The experience improved my academic, social and adaptation skills, as I had contact with a different learning system and with people from all over the world. Keeping up with my other interests while studying (language courses, quiz games, cinema, concerts, books, amateur football tournaments, camping, cooking, etc.) and working part-time to support them developed not only my sense of responsibility and the ability to prioritize but also widen the way I look at problems giving me different perspectives over subjects. The voluntary work I took alongside some cultural events (welcoming guests, providing information and guiding) made me gain leadership competences.
