Background

About Henry A Ogu

I am an Applied Mathematics PhD student and a graduate teaching assistant with the department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, USA. My interest is in dynamical systems, biomathematics, and mathematical and agent-based modeling of biological systems, epidemics and population dynamics with ordinary differential equations and partial differential equations. I have over four years of graduate teaching assistantship experience with three different universities in the United States (Illinois State University, where I obtained a master's degree in Mathematics, Washington State University, where I obtained another master's degree in Applied Mathematics, and Virginia Commonwealth University, where I am currently working on my PhD in Applied Mathematics). Equipped with relevant skills in Computational and Applied Mathematics, I enjoy teaching and research, Biomathematics and and modeling using ODEs and PDEs, computer programming and data analysis among other things.
