About Henry Clark

My primary job is serving as Managing Director of Blue Diamond Capital, a private investment group focused on investment opportunities in small and middle market companies.(This is noted to limit confusion regarding my profile listing which includes roles within several portfolio companies) The partners in BDC are all experienced business operators. We believe that the most valuable asset of any company is its employees. On that belief, BDC was founded with the purpose of investing in people that can grow and expand businesses. We concentrate on providing strategic capital (both control and non-control positions) to companies who are undergoing significant growth and/or looking to transition ownership. We focus on U.S. headquartered companies with leading and/or niche industry positioning that can offer a unique and defensible value proposition in current and new market segments. My career has focused on providing financial and strategic guidance to ownership, leadership, operations and commercial personnel across a range of industries. I have held oversight for all aspects of financial reporting, tax, and cash management, as well as other administrative activities including EH & S. I have significant acquisition and divestiture transaction experience of upstream and downstream assets as well as strategic add-ons, and significant experience in long-term resource planning/capital allocation. I started my career as a consultant focused on the valuation of privately held companies providing independent financial support to owners, financial institutions and litigators. Personally, I believe my greatest responsibility is to be the enabler of success for other people. As an investor and adviser, I strive to provide management, employees and organizations the opportunity to succeed. Along with my partners in Blue Diamond Capital, I am focused on ensuring that financial resources are available and put to work to fund the pursuit of new opportunities that will do just that.
