About Henry Diep

Built my first product at 16, a chatbot using Tensorflow (pre-LLM era), and fell in love with technology. Tried to bootstrap my first startup after high school to help shrimp farmers in the south of Vietnam to automate their farms, but failed because of COVID. Went to a cool uni in Vietnam (VinUniversity) but dropped out after the first year. Worked at a couple of startups before meeting my current cofounder, Benjamin. After a few pivots, I cofounded DearFlow and have been hustling to eliminate all administrative tasks for knowledge workers through an AI (named Flora) that anticipates your admin tasks and gets them done before you ask. My personal journey, lived in a pagoda and practiced Buddhism for more than 5 years before falling in love with startup building. Became a vegetarian at 8 years old (and still now) after watching Japan's 2011 earthquake and tsunami. These experiences taught me to be a calmer and nicer person, and they inspire me to do something bigger than myself in life. I’m also a keen audiobook listener (2.25x speed is my default), swimmer, and wanderer. I love the feeling of traveling without a plan and getting lost in old, historic towns. If I could time travel, Florence in the 1500s would be my dream destination!
