My professional journey has encompassed a mix of chances, shifts, hurdles, and breakthroughs. I began in product management at a startup called Octomask, driven by a desire to pioneer innovative products in the diving industry. Octomask was an opportunity to challenge my comfort zone and strengthen a unique set of opportunities, ultimately leading to the launch of SoCal Plastics Pro several years later. While I initially envisioned my business as a long-term endeavor, this trajectory took a significant turn when I took the chance to oversee space hardware development as an R&D engineer at UCLA. This role not only aligned with my longstanding passion for the aerospace industry, but also opened up an exciting new realm I had yet to explore. Leveraging my years of experience in product and project management, I successfully supervised manufacture and delivery of a low-noise, high-precision fluxgate magnetometer sensors to NASA for the Europa Clipper Mission to Jupiter, and for the low-Earth orbit TRACERS mission. Leading the development of a complex concept into a tangible product, and exceeding the expectations of my customers remains the focus of my professional career.
