I am a Senior Project Manager who takes accountability for the safe and effective delivery of all projects from low complexity single discipline to high complexity multi-disciplinary projects. Always focused on meeting client requirements to time, cost, quality and performance. With over 30 years’ experience behind me I bring a wealth of knowledge on a wide range of complex capital projects to the value of £250m working across both the contractor and client-side. I am skilled in the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure: defining work packages and tender strategies, resource planning, scheduling, risk & opportunity management and effective cost control. My key strength is cross-functional stakeholder engagement from both contractor and client-side. I often find myself brought in to trouble-shoot high-profile at-risk projects due to client & contractor conflict. I take the approach of finding the root cause of conflict and then re-building trust between contract and client with a direct hands-on approach. What key project deliverables can I take care of for you? • Provide leadership and direction on site to complete the construction of all aspects of the project • Project setup: design, finalising scope & operational requirements, delivery plans, risks & opportunities • Build and nurture proactive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders • Resource planning including cost-effective management of consultants and contractors • Proactive Risk, Threat and Opportunity management • Define work packaging and tender strategy • Legal and regulatory compliance and governance arrangements • Manage budgets, costs and timescales • Effective control and change management • Monitor and report on the progress of the project What knowledge, expertise and training have I had?
