I have accrued over 28 years of experience in real estate development, mergers and acquisitions, and financial investment. With my profound understanding of real estate investing in Chinese and international markets and Chinese law and regulations, I have a deep global network of relationships with critical players in the real estate investment space. I specializes in Deals Negotiation, Capital Planning, and Asset management and has a proven track record of executing cross-border joint ventures and large-scale M&A transactions with great exits. My reputation for creative and innovative approaches towards real estate investment has awarded me a myriad of municipal project resources, and goodwill from local government that form a core part of my relationship network. In addition, my expertise in real estate investment covers the full deal life cycle from capital fundraising, investment, management, to planning and executing strategic exits. Working heavily with multiple real estate funds, I am equipped with a nuanced understanding of fund construction and structure. As an international investor, I have navigated the distinct investment environment of many sovereign countries - particularly those of the United States and China - with great success. In my joint partnership collaborations with American real estate development firms, I am heavily involved in building financial structures and executing M&A deals across a myriad of real estate asset classes within the US. I have held positions as Vice President and Head of Shanghai Operation and Management in Korea SK(China), President of SK (China) Real Estate, and President of SK (China) Real Estate Fund and spearheaded the firm’s project exploration and sourcing, design, implementation, and investment management activities. Under My leadership, SK (China)’s project, investment, and financing teams made headways into securing development opportunities across many 1st Tier cities including Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, Chongqing, and Guangdong. Under his tenure, SK (China) completed projects including the creation of the RMB Equity Investment Fund, acquisition of Shanghai Rainbow Plaza from Goldman Sachs with a successful exit within a year, established SK (China) Shanghai Headquarters Building, and acquisition of the Shanghai Expo Office/Commercial 15-1 site from public land – all of which laid the foundation for SK (China’s) legacy to be recognized one of the premier real estate investment groups in China.
