I am a Solid Waste Operator/Route Manager at City of Brentwood, CA, with 30 years of experience in the waste management industry. I am passionate about recycling and repurposing waste materials, and achieving zero waste and sustainability goals for my community and clients. My core competencies include operating and maintaining various solid waste vehicles and equipment, managing and optimizing routes, leading and motivating teams, implementing policies and procedures, and delivering superior customer service. I have also demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. Previously, I was a Regional Operations Manager at Zero Waste Solutions, Inc, where I evaluated and improved the efficiency and safety of solid waste services contracted with US military bases. I also implemented life cycle assessment and reuse processes, and created a successful team environment. Additionally, I have served on the board of various sports leagues, the Child Abuse Prevention Council, and the City of Brentwood Diversity and Inclusion. I am committed to making a positive impact on the environment and society through my work and volunteerism.
