As the founder of Thinking Heart Solutions, I spearhead a consultancy dedicated to equipping educators with trauma-responsive educational strategies. Our research-backed approach called MABEN, addresses the profound impact of trauma on learning and development. Through our programs, we empower teachers to modulate their own vicarious trauma, mitigate students' traumatic behaviors, and cultivate critical thinking skills essential for academic success. With over two decades of experience in cerebration-driven leadership, higher education administration, and program management, I bring a wealth of expertise. Holding a Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership, I am deeply committed to fostering institutional excellence and academic achievement through a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion. My career spans various roles, including leading initiatives in career and technical education, securing funding, and driving quality improvement efforts for accreditation. I'm particularly adept in online education, having earned a master's degree in online teaching from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This background positions me as a leader in online curriculum design, instructional delivery, and assessment methodologies. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am proud to serve as a board member at Lawrence Hall Youth Services, where I actively support initiatives that empower youth and families through education.
