About Henry Lesar

About me: I have been leading software/application development teams for more than a decade. I have been fortunate and privileged enough to have worked with and lead many different individuals from a host of countries, managing teams onshore and offshore. I am passionate about building a culture wherein my teams are focused on providing solutions that improve people’s lives. During my tenure at different financial institutions, I have proudly led multi-disciplinary technological teams in the execution of the Software Development Life Cycle. We have enabled digitization of many different business units by enabling them with Applications to improve existing Business Processes and Business Intelligence Reporting, enabling our stakeholders to demonstrate efficiency of implemented solutions and benefits. Key drivers for me are: All solutions need to be scalable and easily maintainable. I enjoy getting involved in CSR programmes and enjoy making a difference in the people’s lives and their smiles we bring them, even if only for a short while. Part of my contribution to mankind is enhancing and improving people, as I give of my time for mentoring and providing guidance for wherever there is an ask or need. In my personal life I have some a semblance of structure and routine, as I am a marathon runner. I strive for discipline in everything I do. I am cognizant of how I spend my time. I aspire to be resilient and relentless in pursuit of my life’s purpose and my goals. I strive to be kind, considerate and compassionate to others.
