About Henry Roth

I am a dedicated individual from a small town in western Minnesota, driven by a strong passion for public health and scientific advancements. My academic journey at the University of South Dakota has equipped me with a deep understanding of health disparities and the social determinants that impede individuals from achieving optimal health. Society and health professionals must collaborate to enhance our public health infrastructure through effective health promotion, fostering trust within healthcare systems, and leveraging evidence-based medical science to influence public health policymakers. To create meaningful change, we must identify existing disparities and implement strategic initiatives to improve health outcomes for all individuals. My professional experience includes various manual labor positions, which instilled a strong work ethic. Additionally, I have served as a personal care assistant in a long-term care facility and as a peer educator for first-generation college students. I am employed through Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD, in the radiology department at the USD Medical Center.
