Background
About Henry Williams
I am a British-Australian designer and educator based in Melbourne, Australia. Prior to founding HWS in 2021, I was the architecture lead at Snøhetta's Australasian studio. I previously worked in London with Stanton Williams and David Chipperfield Architects. I teach at the Melbourne School of Design (The University of Melbourne) and Monash University and sit on the ODASA (Office for Design and Architecture South Australia) Design Review Panel. My practice now focusses on exhibition design and art projects, with cultural clients including the Victoria & Albert Museum (London), the Museum of Science and Industry (Manchester), and the Art Gallery of South Australia (Adelaide). Since 2023 I have been a PhD candidate at Monash University, examining notions of unity during the Roman baroque.
