About Herb Geier

I Started in Construction in 1975 and was drawn to the interior Movable/Modular Walls because of it's simplistic fundamentals for re-use.In 1980 I started working for OSC Partitions owned and operated by Eberhard von Huenne in Calgary Alberta Canada. Became the "Movable Wall Systems Installation Manager and Managed installations throughout Canada. I Later moved to the USA and managed installations in Dallas/Fort Worth, and New York, NY. In 1985 OSC partitions was sold to Knoll International and I became the East Coast Installation Manager that supported and trained Dealers in product installations, change order management & mockup presentations. In 1992 Knoll Wall was sold to Clestra Hauserman and I excepted the position of Regional Construction Manager in the Washington,DC area. Clestra Hauserman manufactured and installed four lines of Modular Walls along with walk-on ceiling systems that were very popular in Cleanroom & Laboratory applications.From 1992 to Clestra Hauserman sold, managed and installed more that linear feet of modular walls just in the Washington, DC area. In Steelcase purchased Clestra Hauserman where I remained until 2007 when it was decided to close Installations services throughout the USA.
