About Herbert Ernst

Mr. Ernst has managed large environmental investigation, remediation, emergency response, and compliance programs for a variety of clients throughout the US. He has successfully closed remediation sites using risk-based corrective action and risk assessment under various state programs. Support for his clients has involved strategic planning, regulatory negotiation, budget and schedule development, and the management of other consultants and contractors. He has a great deal of experience with aviation fuel facility environmental management at major airports. Mr. Ernst develops emergency spill response plans (facility response plans, spill prevention control and countermeasures plans) and trains client facilities to implement plans. He has also developed and conducted environmental audits, prepared findings reports, and worked with facilities to implement corrective actions. Mr. Ernst has also managed federal projects for the Bureau of Land Management and Forest Service.
