About Herbert Kellins

Dr. Herb has been involved in athletics for most of his life. He started taking martial arts as a teenager and has extensive background in boxing, kick-boxing, Tae Kwon Do and Muay Thai. Because of the positive impact martial arts has had on his life, he is a volunteer coach at AOA Boxing in Round Rock. In 2003, after his third back surgery, he hung up the gloves and took up powerlifting as a way to rebuild his body. He worked to understand how the body functioned, how a weak link in the chain impacted the integrity of the whole system and how to recognize and eliminate weak links through targeted training and exercises. He eventually began competing and has set multiple state and national records and was Ranked #3 in the country at 181. He is still ranked in the top 30 best of the best at 181 lbs. Dr. Herb studied Kinesiology at San Jose State University before starting his studies at Palmer Chiropractic College – West. He graduated in 2010 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2018, after practicing for 8 years in California, he and his family relocated to Round Rock, Texas. They live and work in Round Rock and love the golf community they now call home. When not training or working with clients and patient, Dr. Herb is an avid wood worker and is learning to build furniture and cabinetry. He is also an outdoor photographer and some of his photos can be seen in his office.
