About Herbert Ntare

As a QHSE Specialist at Uganda National Oil Company Limited (UNOC), I ensure that the operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner by integrating and implementing company and regulatory policies. With over 15 years of experience in the highly regulated oil and gas industry, I have developed expertise in risk management, process improvement, team development, and business strategy. I hold an MBA, a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, and several certificates in health, safety, and environmental management from NEBOSH and IOSH. I have been involved in systems implementation and auditing, quality assurance and control, project management and planning, contract management, and loss prevention systems, working with various stakeholders in the upstream and downstream sectors. My goal is to provide effective HSEQ technical advice and solutions to the business, and to maintain solid relationships with customers and government agencies through effective communication.
