As Technical Director and Master Control Operator at WDEF News 12, Herman leads multi-camera live productions, expertly managing switcher operations, lighting, audio mixing, graphics, and visual storytelling. He thrives under pressure, ensuring every broadcast delivers with impact and technical precision. His ability to adapt quickly in high-stakes environments has elevated production quality and viewer engagement across multiple platforms. Outside of the newsroom, Herman runs Visuals By Herman, where he serves as Photographer, Videographer, and Creative Director. He manages all aspects of visual content creation for brands, campaigns, and individuals—conceptualizing, directing, and editing innovative visual media. From political events featuring high-profile figures like President Obama and VP Kamala Harris to grassroots community outreach spotlighting underfunded schools, his work reflects both artistic vision and purpose.
