About Herman Sips

I have a deeply felt passion for the preservation of the environment and for sustainable green growth. It has been my driving force for the last twenty five years. I am especially convinced that problems around global public goods can and must be solved for the sake of this and future generations. I regard sustainability - the balance between people and planet - as the challenge of our generation. I have a strong strategic, conceptual and innovative mind that enables me to quickly grasp complex issues and frame them in positive ways that offer opportunities to align people and bridge differences. I have good communication and diplomatic skills that enable me to understand different views on complex issues and bridge them. I communicate with clarity and natural ease and speak easily and respectfully with people in different positions and from different backgrounds. I was part of many teams in leading and advisory capacities and on many different topics in different international fora. A focus on results, great energy, commitment and perseverance are at the core of his work efforts. As networker and chairman, I have demonstrated great ability in energizing, convincing and connecting people and moving complex issues to mutual agreement and understanding. In my advisory capacity I he have served with different executives in providing authoritative advice on content, process and political achievability.
