Self-motivated and analytical Professional Engineer who places an importance on producing efficient structural designs. I’m a structural engineer who enjoys tackling projects that will offer me new challenges and learning experiences. As someone who has been involved in the construction industry in all of its phases (construction, construction management, special inspections, structural analysis and design), I take pride in designing practical structures that result in minimal RFI’s during the construction process. My design experience on the island of Guam has exposed me to the most extreme load cases for wind and seismic in the United States. Extensive experience utilizing the following software: ETABS, SAFE, RISA 3D, RAM, AutoCAD, Revit. Extensive experience with the following codes: ACI 318, ACI 350, ACI 350.3, TMS 402, AISC 360, AISC 341, API 653, NDS, IBC, ASCE 7, AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications. Design experience includes: Concrete and steel building analysis and design, concrete and steel building retrofit analysis and design, concrete tank analysis and design, steel tank repairs, retaining walls, vehicle barriers, concrete and steel special seismic detailing.
