About Herold Williams

Hey! I'm Herold. I've developed a video conferencing camera that solves the UNIVERSAL problem of the “bowling alley/tiny people” user experience in conference rooms and huddle spaces. I have been at the forefront of the Immersive Telepresence segment within the video conferencing industry since its inception. Numerous influential pros in our space have tagged me "the father of modern day telepresence". I co-founded TeleSuite Corp, the first commercially successful immersive telepresence platform. There, among other products, I developed the TeleSuite which would become the Polycom RPX when Polycom acquired Destiny Conferencing, the successor company of TeleSuite, in 2007. More recently, I founded AURA Presence, a specialty video conferencing camera manufacturer dedicated to solving the universal problem of people image capture in video conferencing rooms including huddle spaces. From the bowling alley room and tiny person sitting at the head of the table experience, to participants appearing to look at the ceiling associated with nearly all other cameras, AURA not only eliminates those imaging deficiencies, our cameras create an amazing immersive experience for end users on the receiving side. And now, with a post Covid hybrid employee model and continued social distancing, AURA's people imaging "magic" truly outperforms all other video conferencing cameras. Please see actual photo comparisons below between AURA cameras and nearly all other wide-field VC cameras. And catch David Maldow's product review on YouTube. AURA Camera Models E70 and E120 are available for pre-order. For more information DM me here on Linkedin or email me at hwilliams@AURApresence.com.
