About Heruy Damtew

I am an out of home and promotional item specialist with a passion for the advertising industry. I discovered this passion while I was doing my research for my BA in St Mary University on the advertising effectiveness of a specific beer company. I was fascinated by following specific variables we can shape the effectiveness of an advertising and also how out of home advertising can create brand awareness and influence consumer behavior. After graduating, I joined an out of home and promotional item company as a sales representative, where I learned how to identify potential clients, negotiate contracts, and deliver customized solutions. I worked with various industries, such as retail shops, hospitality, import export companies and many more helping them achieve their marketing goals. Two years and three months later, I decided to take the next step in my career and joined an agency as a procurement specialist for out of home spots and promotional item. In this role, I am responsible for sourcing and securing the best locations and formats for our clients' campaigns, as well as suggesting promotional items that complement their strategies. I enjoy working with different media partners and vendors, and finding creative ways to optimize our clients' budgets and reach. I am always eager to learn new skills and trends in the advertising industry, and to connect with other professionals who share my passion. I believe that out of home and promotional item advertising is a powerful tool that can make a difference in today's competitive market.
