My passion for marketing, feel for entrepreneurialism and management skills have allowed me to create impact in the commercial field over recent years. My entrepreneurialism often manifests itself through having the courage to lead the way. People often indicate that I am able to convert strategic insights into successful execution. A key factor in this is to get people to understand and to encourage them to organise things; whether it is the Holland Heineken House or the realisation of Heineken Extra Cold in the market. My passion for marketing comes from a fascination for the psychology and sociology behind consumer behaviour. Whether it can be influenced through traditional marketing; observe the enormous success of “the walk in fridge” commercial. Or through new ways of influencing the consumer, which also includes the new technological opportunities as an enabler. I continue to be intrigued by it on a day to day basis. My commercial experience over the years covers different countries in Europe and various industries such as DIY, FMCG and online business.
