About Hetal Jani

I am a passionate educator and leader, lifting communities by increasing social capital and opportunity sharing. I have worked in education since I was 16, starting with tutoring and learning about how teaching was more about the learner and ensuring the learner was engaged. I realized translating content into language and ideas that the learner could relate to, personalizing learning, resulted in the greatest rate of learning and allowed for greater levels of retention. Dedicated to my own self-development, I pursued a coursework that included three masters degrees over a span of four years, during which I applied my learning of the whole human being and how we can personalize content, instruction, assessment, followed by evaluation of instructional approaches, and community support to provide the most holistic learning experience for each individual to become a life-long learner. I'm passionate about creating valuable, meaningful and accessible learning opportunities for individuals to develop themselves as productive members of our world. This has translated to the work I am doing now with SPEAKHIRE, where we empower diverse individuals to become future workforce leaders and bringing more equitable access to opportunities to communities globally.
