About Hetal Thakkar

Currently pursuing MSC in Global Supply Chain Management from University of Sussex with Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a post graduate qualification in Public Relations, 4 years of supply chain and manufacturing experience, 5 years of public relations experience in the corporate and finance industry and over a decade’s work experience, I am a procurement and supply chain professional & previously a manufacturing business owner and a communications specialist having extensive experience across industries and domains. Having set up my own business, I have learnt a great deal over the last few years, right from manufacturing processes, optimisation & efficiencies management, negotiation with vendors & building trust worthy relationships, onboarding of clients, managing communication, coordination, multi-tasking, management decision making, complex problem solving, crisis management, accounting, compliance and business management. I define ambition as a process of learning through various experiences in life. This is evident in my professional graph till date. Be it a Business Owner and a Supply Chain professional having worked with most major 5-star hotels in Mumbai, a Communications Professional having worked for a variety of corporate and finance clients or a coordinator at a ITC’s 5-star hotel & Times Group’s Business News channel, even as a dance teacher; I thrive on personal enhancement by developing my skills and relevant technical knowledge. I hope to continue my quest for knowledge in the new adventures to follow.
