About Hetendra Hansjee

I have been qualified since 1998 as an Advanced Life Support care Provider and I worked in the rural environment for 5 years as a frontline emergency response medic prior to working in the international scene. My travels overseas as a remote site paramedic has taken me from the Islands of Indonesia, to vast unforgiving winters in Russia and then to extreme temperatures of the Saudi Arabian Desert and the unpredictable waters of the South Sulu and South China Seas. I have proven myself in the onshore and offshore environment, managing single man sites, undertaking my duties as a Paramedic with professionalism and my enthusiasm to learn has often seen me take on additional roles and duties in support of administration and safety. I have current registration with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa and I have undertaken Opito Offshore BOSIET Course, BLS, ACLS, ITLS and PALS courses successfully. My career over 15 years has armed with me vast experience and knowledge, as such I am prepared for any challenge as a Remote Site Paramedic
