About Heyward Harrison
After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a double major in English and Communications Studies (Media Studies), I moved abroad to Melbourne, Australia where I taught swim lessons to children and adults. I moved back to the states due to the pandemic and found temporary work as a framer (housing additions/remodeling), before moving to Clark, Colorado to live and work on a guest ranch. After two seasons with Vista Verde, I moved to Chicago where I worked with Northern Trust as a Client Service Representative in their Benefit Payments Department. I am now the Assistant Director of Entrepreneurship Programs and Outcomes for the Polsky Center at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Most of my work is involved with student programming and analyzing data on the ventures that come through our various accelerators.
