Before joining abrdn, Ono-san was the Managing Director, Japan Real Estate at Manulife where he was responsible for the company’s real estate investment in Japan as well as the corporate real estate needs for the life insurance operation with 100 locations nation-wide. At AXA, Ono-san was Head of Japan Core Fund based in Singapore. Ono-san started ING Real Estate Japan Office, grew the business in four years to US$2 billion assets under management with 45 people. Ono-san holds MBA from Stanford University and graduated from Hitotsubashi University with Bachelor of Social Studies.
